Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190)
This visa allows the skilled workers to live and work in Australia permanently. This visa is a permanent residency skilled visa for people who have their occupation in high demand in Australia’s labour market. The applicant is sponsored by a state or territory. This visa has a travel component that expires 5 years after the date of visa grant.
Requirements-
- Invited to apply-The applicant is only eligible to apply if he/she has received the invitation on the basis of EOI submitted. The invitations are issued regularly through the Skill Select.
- Nominated- The applicant must be nominated bay an Australian state or territory government agency.
- Skill assessment- For the application the applicant must have a valid skill assessment (positive) at the time of invitation. The skill assessment must have been obtained in the 3 years before the date of invitation.
- Age- The applicant must be under 45 when he/she receives the invitation to apply for the visa.
- Points- The applicant must achieve the score specified in the letter of invitation based on the factors in the points tests.
- English Language- The applicant must have atleast competent English.
- Skills Requirement- The occupation must be on the relevant list of eligible skilled occupations.
