The United States of America offers an immigration Investor program to obtain U.S. permanent resident status (U.S. Green Cards) for clients and their families.
U.S Immigrant Investor Program (EB-5)
The U.S. Investor Program (EB-5 program) is a way for wealthy individuals to obtain a U.S. permanent resident “Green Cards” for themselves, their spouse and unmarried children under the age of 21.
The main requirement for this program is an investment of $500,000 US into an eligible business in the United States that will create 10 jobs. Note that the U.S. Government may increase the required investment amount in the near future.
With an investment of U.S. $500,000 Dollars a client and family can obtain U.S Green Cards. Processing delay for Green card approval varies from 18 months to 5 years, depending on the client’s country of birth.
Advantages of the U.S. EB 5 Immigrant Investor Program
- Client does not require business or management experience.
- No language requirement.
- No need for the client to create a new business, or to manage or operate a business in the USA.
- The client investment money is kept in a secure escrow bank account until the U.S. government approves the investment project and the file of the candidate.
- If the candidate is refused by the U.S. government, the investment is returned by the escrow bank.
- Client only needs to prove they obtained U.S. $500,000 Dollars legally. This money can come from property investments, other investments, personal savings, a loan, an inheritance, etc.
- Client and their family are eligible for American citizenship after 5 years being a U.S. permanent resident.
- It is possible for the client to receive back all or most of their investment money, if the correct EB 5 investment project is chosen.
- Possible to continue to conduct business elsewhere in the world as long as a residence is maintained in the United States.
